Let’s Walk Together

“Remember that you are never alone, Christ is with you on your journey every day of your lives! He has called you and chosen you to live in the freedom of the children of God. Turn to him in prayer and in love. Ask him to grant you the courage and strength to live in this freedom always. Walk with him who is “the Way, the Truth and the Life”!”  – St John Paul II

Young adulthood is an exciting time, full of potential. It can also be a time of great challenge and growth. It is a period where we being to discover our place in the community of God and the mission He has for our lives. We take the big and important step from being a participant in the Church to a part of the Church. It is a monumental journey, but you don’t have to take it alone! Young Adult Ministry seeks to accompany and support those ages 18-39 as they strive for holiness. The mission of the ministry is threefold:

  • Community – No one can do it alone, but you are never alone. Journey together with young people who are searching and striving for the same goal: God. Find a place and people that you can call home.
  • Empowerment – Grow in knowledge, love, faith, and connection with God. Discover the many unique gifts God has given you and the ways He loves you every day. Let yourself be formed and inspired.
  • Service – Take the love of God fostered in your community and bring it to others! Spread the Good News to the world (or your small section of it) in the unique way God is calling you to! Be Christ for others.

The diocese hosts a variety of groups and events, all aimed to help you connect, grow, and serve. Check them out!

YOU are an important part of this Church. YOU can do great things. YOU belong here.
