The Communications Office of the Diocese of Harrisburg works for the Bishop to ensure a clear, consistent message is delivered regarding the work of the Diocese, its offices and ministries, and the local Catholic Church.
About Our Office
This office manages the Diocesan website, The Catholic Witness print and digital newspaper, social media, Diocesan podcasts, radio and television messages, statements from the Bishop or Diocese, and responses to media requests. This office also develops and oversees the strategic communication initiatives in the Dioceses’ Strategic Plan, and provides communications, marketing and public relations support to all Diocesan parishes and schools.
All media requests for interviews, photographs, access to Diocesan churches or property, and information about the mission of the Church can be arranged by contacting Rachel Bryson, Executive Director of Public Relations.
