Title – Catholic or Nothing
Description – In 1998, Deacon Gregory Amarante sought to convert his boss from Catholicism to Evangelical Protestantism. Three years later, Gregory became a revert to the Catholic faith. In the wake of his reversion, his wife, Ellen, faced the difficult choice of leaving her husband whom she dearly loved or learning why after 13 years as a devout non-denominational/fundamentalist protestant he wanted to return to the Catholic Church. In this session, Deacon Gregory and Ellen will share their experiences of reversion and conversion, the challenges people face when returning to or entering full communion with the Church, and some tips on how you can be a constructive, effective part of a person’s journey of faith leading to the truth, beauty, and goodness of Catholicism.
