White Mass

The Harrisburg Guild of the Catholic Medical Association will host the annual White Mass at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, Harrisburg, on Sunday, October 30 at 9:30 a.m. Bishop Ronald Gainer will be the celebrant.
In these challenging times, now more than ever, Our Lord seeks to refresh and sustain those serving others in illness and suffering. The White Mass provides an opportunity to gather in solidarity and fellowship. Physicians will recite their oath of care at that time. Attendees are welcome to wear their white coats and uniforms. A reception will follow the Mass so that healthcare professionals may meet and learn more about the Guild.
While the guild is physician led, all medical professionals and their families are welcome. As part of the national Catholic Medical Association, the Harrisburg Diocesan Guild seeks to serve medical professionals, particularly doctors, in upholding the principles of the Catholic Faith in the science and practice of Medicine. Participating in the Harrisburg Guild provides faith formation, education, and advocacy, particularly in respect to conscience protection.
