ADVENT-ure: Bethlehem and Beyond
December 9
We all typically think of Advent as a time of waiting and preparation for Christmas, but it can also be so much more! How can Advent prepare us for our spiritual journeys beyond Christmas? How can it be a time of active formation? Many characters in scripture journeyed far and undertook adventure to reach the Nativity: the shepherds, the wise men, and the Holy Family themselves! But their stories did not stop there and neither does yours! What waits beyond Bethlehem? Come join us and find out!
Join us for an Advent Day of Reflection! This is a two-part event for young adults. The first part will consist of reflections, small group sessions, catered lunch, and a Eucharistic holy hour with confessions. The second half of this event will begin with the 4 pm vigil Mass, a catered dinner, and a social time where attendees can go back and forth between board games or the dance floor! Registrants can choose to attend one or both parts.
