The Chrism Mass, celebrated on Monday of Holy Week, offers the faithful a solemn occasion to witness the blessing of the oils and the consecration of the Sacred Chrism that will be used in the celebration of the sacraments throughout the coming year.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper

The Mass of the Lord's Supper celebrates the institution of the Most Holy Eucharist and the institution of the Priesthood by Jesus Christ. The traditional practice of washing of the feet is performed on this day. It represents the service and charity of Christ, who came "not to be served, but to serve."  Bishop Gainer will wash the feet of twelve area Catholics.

Easter Vigil Mass

The Easter Vigil Mass begins with the creation of a blazing fire to remind all that there is no darkness, no death that Christ cannot conquer.  Water is blessed and new adult members of the Church are baptized, confirmed and receive Holy Communion for the first time.
