Leadership Training for Parish Support Group leaders is presented once each year, usually in the fall. This one-day training includes information on understanding the grieving process and person and provides step-by-step process for starting a parish group.
Parish Separated and Divorced Ministries rely on the gifts, prayers and energy of volunteers who are willing to share their time with people who are just beginning to experience the changes that the volunteer has already encountered. Separated and Divorced Ministers are not experts—they are people who have already taken a difficult journey and are there to lead others on their own path.
Leading a Parish Support Group will provide the parish volunteer with the skills he or she needs to work with the Separated and Divorced of the parish.
