Financial Assistance for Catholic Education

The Neumann Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance to families within the Diocese of Harrisburg who want to choose Catholic school education for their children, but do not have the financial resources to pay full tuition.

Contact your local Diocesan Catholic School to enroll your children. All applications are web-based and can be found via your school’s web site at FACTSmgt.com.  School age students range from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Pre-Kindergarten students who are three and four years old qualify for the Pre-K Program.

Donations are received from local businesses participating in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs.

If you own a business and pay Pennsylvania state taxes, you can build a bright future for deserving students of the Diocese of Harrisburg by participating in either the EITC or OSTC program.  For a two year commitment a business can receive a 90% tax credit and for a one year commitment a business can receive a 75% tax credit, up to a maximum credit of $750,000. Every dollar received by the Neumann Scholarship Foundation from area businesses is awarded to students attending Catholic elementary, secondary and pre-schools in the Diocese. Click here  for additional program information.

We also welcome personal donations to the scholarship fund for any Diocesan school.  Your donation can be through a planned giving gift or a memorial scholarship fund.  Contact the Diocesan Development Office who will be happy to work with you to meet your educational philanthropic goals.
